Loved Woodlands. Next?

I'm sitting here cuddling my hot coffee and dreaming of summer!
We have been camping for a few years. Given the fact my youngest is five we have found staying at somewhere like Woodlands is great. We camped on the attached site. Went over after breakfast, back to unit for lunch and more playing before tea!

The alternative seems to be lots of expensive and tiring days out. We don't want to spend whole days on site.

We also tried Crealy. That was good too. At Woodlands though (if you are camping there) you are allowed back in once the attraction has closed.

So where else would we like?

I am not sure if there is a campsite (we had a caravan) but we loved longleat. We got a deal with the caravan club. We also loved woodlands.

Gullivers at Milton Keynes?

Wellington Country Park. We generally stay for four nights and find enough to do on site without having to leave.

I'd also like to hear more recommendations for sites like this. It's so nice to be able to stroll back to your tent for lunch and a bit of downtime (and a little lunchtime vino as no-one has to drive).

I too am interested in sites similar to woodlands, the only thing I miss there is a swimming pool for the DC. I've been looking at Mill Farm in Bridgewater, Somerset. Has anyone stayed there?
