Campsites on the Adriatic coast of Italy

Flights to Venice are booked, I have looked at 100s of campsites and they are all blending into one!

Does anyone have any recommendations for campsites? We'll be looking to hire a mobile home type thing for 2 adults, 1 toddler and 2 junior school aged dc.

I've seen Union Lido recommended but not sure if it's too huge for us, we'd also love a town within walking distance if that's within the realms of possibility too.

It depends what you mean by "town" as none of the ones along the cavalino peninsula are walking distance to Jesolo. There is a small town at CaSavio though.

Hands down the best site is Marina Di Venezia, but it's enormous. An alternative could be Mediteranneo which is smaller or CaPasquali which is less built up and more wooded.

I don't really need a town as such just somewhere to have an evening paseo and an ice cream/ drink.

Camping ca savio. Been there two years on the trot. Can walk to ice cream parlour and a few restaurants and shops. Also easy to get to Venice. On the beach which is beautiful. No water slides is the only disadvantage.

we went to ca savio last may half term. Really lovely site. beach gorgeous. good pizza. had a great time.
We're going back this year to the area as we loved it so mucha but after much discussion think we're going to union lido. Its more expensive but 12 and 9 yr old really want some waterslides.

If I was going with younger children/ not so worried about waterslides I'd be going back to ca' savio no question.

It is a really lovely plce to go on holiday. The beaches are great and venice is gorgeous! make sure you go around some of the smaller islands as well as the main tourist bits- burano is really beautiful.
