Is it Christmas bedsocks cold at night, or normal socks?

Packing crisis!

I don't know about Cornwall, but I would always err on the side of warmer gear, as there may be things more miserable than being cold at night when camping, but I'm not sure I can think of them.

Layers, and then you can adjust is best.

I live in Devon and its windows open, no duvet and underwear in bed weather this past month. It's been very humid - of course if you are camping by the sea you will have a bit more sea breeze so factor that in. Tonight has been the coolest night it's been in a long while.

Although when outside at night we have been putting on jackets from 10pm onwards

Normal socks have been fine, even through the howling rainstorm last night Grin
