Mine came today - the lazy delivery man left it in its humungous box at the gate - found it when I went to school. The box is 3ft x 1ft x 1ft - I was worried that it was going to be even bigger than our current 10cm SIMS but no, just Amazon packing.

I don't even like sleeping on SIMS and have bought another one

I got mine today too, it's huge! But that's good in my book, I had to double check the sleeping area of my tent to check it would fit! ????

I am relieved to say that in the bag it is slightly smaller than my existing one in its bag (might get it out later but the floor is covered in Lego).

They take up so much room in the car compared to our aerobed but are part of our weekend kit when we take mummy bags which are smaller than the down bags we take in our trailer.

They still make my back and hips ache though , mine is 10cm - I wished that they worked for me, can do it for a night or two though. I often wake myself up snoring on a SIM - charming! I can't sleep on my side on it because my hip nearest the floor hurts so end up on my back - because I only take a small pillow for weekends I snore.

Luckily we are camping less than an hour away from home, so we are bringing both cars. The sims will go on top of an Aldi camp bed!

I bought 3. That was 3 massive boxes! Incredibly comfortable! DD tested it last night!

Bump - DH arrived home last night and is perplexed by the massive box in the barn ... I haven't confessed yet as he will think it completely surplus to requirements as we have four SIMS for three of us (just that DD's weren't 10 cm ones) and only use them for weekends.

He walked through the house saying 'where is it Lavender, what have you bought, I see that the recycling bin is full of boxes so I know it is a good haul but what was in the massive one'.

Nothing to do with cost at all. But then he came home with this little beauty

You are all very welcome. I'm going to see if Aldi have any of their camp beds left tomorrow, they are quite wide so should take this SIM. They are massive though!

I feel guilty! Mine apparently came Thursday morning, ironically about three hours after I left on a camping trip (and spent the weekend on a leaky airbed ) so my poor neighbour had the stupidly huge box in her hallway all weekend. Oops! In my defense, the delivery estimate said it'd take a week....
