And know about electrical converters for Europe/France and any other tips I need to watch out for. Any info about caravanning in Europe would be appreciated. Cheers.

most French sites conform to the CEE17 connection that we use un the UK, although some sites still use the older 2 pin system. You can by a converter from any caravan dealer but probably not worth it. Cross polarity is more of a real prob and you can buy a polarity checker from your local dealer. If poles are reversed you will need a plug wired with live and neutral reversed.
Best tip is if you are going low season buy some Camping Cheques; discount vouchers that enable you to stay on 5 star parks for around 15euro per night.
