DH's family bought us a stay on a Featherdown farm for Christmas, so we're staying in Shropshire in a couple of weeks. We're both fairly seasoned campers, but most of our camping is backpacking/bike touring camping, so we're used to travelling light and making do without a lot of stuff.
This will be our first time doing any kind of camping where we'll have a car so won't have to worry too much about overpacking, and it seems that the camps come equipped with a lot of stuff like pots & pans etc. However I'm a bit worried that I'll forget something essential! We have a tiny camp stove which I was going to take for morning coffee as I've read the log fires can take a while to get going, but is there anything else I should definitely not forget to pack, or that will make our stay more fun?
