Campsite around Calais

I need a recommendation for a campsite near Calais for 2 nights. It can be either France or Belgium but no more than about an hour away. It'd be good if we could have a campfire as it'll be May Day weekend so maybe still a bit chilly.

I'm so excited that the camping season is finally here again!

We went to a Castels site, Domaine de Drancourt, www.camping-castels.co.uk/camping-domaine-de-drancourt-id253-id_camping22.html, which was great (although I would steer clear of their pizza) and is about the right sort of distance.

However, Castels have another site, La Bien Assise www.camping-castels.co.uk/camping-la-bien-assise-id253-id_camping21.html, which also looks lovely and is right on the doorstep.

Oh, forgot to say, I don't think you can have fires at either site, but you can get EHU. Sites allowing fires are less common in France, although www.coolcamping.co.uk might be a good place to look for somewhere that does allow them.

weve just come back from la bien assise. Its about 20 mins from Calais. We stayed 4 nights.

I thought it was pretty good tbh. It isnt all singing and dancing, but has decent playground, small indoor pool, and some outdoor pool slide stuff, but it wasnt warm enough to use those, although some kids were braving it. My eldest was out playing with other kids every evening
Very basic little shop. We went with eurocamp, so we borrowed stuff like Jenga and badminton kit, and boules from them.

We did day trips to Boulogne sur mer, and visited Nausicaa, which is a fabulous aquarium.
We also went to le touquet beach, wimereux beach (fossil hunting) and we did a day at plopsaland theme park in de panne, Belgium, which is brilliant.

I dont think you can do open fires, but they do provide a barbecue
