Any reason not to buy a kamei husky L roofbox?

... before I hit buy?

We don't fit comfortably in our car with the toddler and dogs. It's hilarious actually. So investing in a roof box to make packing the car for camping trips seem less daunting.

I assume they don't leak in the rain. Any advice on how to pack a roof box? Is it just a case of shove it all in?

Thanks! Grin

One major downside is that you'll buy more camping stuff to fit in Grin

Pretty sure that's the one we have- good size, easyish to manoeuvre onto the car (DH does it on his own) and light.

We pack SIMs, sleeping bags, towels, soft bags of clothes up there, saving the bulkier rectangular stuff for the boot. It takes a few goes to work out what suits you, and remember to leave the front locking mechanism clear for pulling it shut. It often takes two of us to get it shut when it's full.

Yes to everything profpoop says!
We also put out foootprint and tent in, last, so that when we get ot the site we can whip them out and start setting up. (The boot always ends up with lots of random things on top at the end so opening it up is likely to cause a mini avalanche.)
