Finally decided to sell my Soulpad and give up tenting.

Only used it twice after returning to camping from a campervan and decided that I'm too old for it. Bought a caravan last year and after dithering for ages have decided to sell. Lovely tent but my back desires a proper bed.

I do feel a bit sad.....so I've cheered myself up my buying a new caravan today.

Any ideas where would be a good place to advertise the tent? Don't think I can be arsed with ebay and their fees, etc. guess I can start with local FB groups but not sure there's many hard core campers locally.

(But have just bought a new tent and cannot manage the potential drying issues of a canvas tent, or the size and weight of the pack. Alas)

Yeah I bought a zig and a second bag so I could split it and luckily have a big garden so drying it was fine. Going to put an ad on uk campsite but will keep my eye out on here as well. Might wait a while for the weather to get warmer so more people will be thinking of new tents.

She'd got her heart set on camping in Italy next year. But also wanted the new caravan. I told her she had to choose and she said caravan. Mine signed the bloody paperwork and now she's back tracking!
