Think I've asked this before but didn't get much of a response.

Walking around campsites, I often see some fantastic set ups. Especially in France. By comparison, ours always looks a bit clumsy. So, seasoned campers, can you post pics please? I'm selling my mammoth tent this year for a smaller and hopefully inflatable tent

Ha! Our camp looks as if it has been turned over by chimps with ADHD.

CampsiteUK have a facility where members upload picturesof tents to go with tent reviews and you get loads of individual all posting pics of ther set ups - look here and click on a tent model and at the bottom of the page will be loads of pics to look at. I have just been marvelling at people who create bedside tables...

Blu- thanks loads. Will have a peek this evening. We're getting rid of our mansion royal Athens and hopefully in the market for a 4-5 berth inflatable.

I should have taken pics of the lovely organised camps in France!

Here is ours. That's one folding camper plus awning, one gazebo and two small 2 man pop up tents for the boys (one each). This is in France.

Oooooh Flapping I'm liking the gazebo. Looks lovely. Do you leave your table and chairs there all night? Where did you buy the gazebo?

Thanks for posting!

We got it off amazon and it is a Wenzel day house. It packs up really small and is really easy to put up. It is shower proof so mostly we leave stuff in it unless torrential rain. It does leak a bit from the seams but last summer we did have some heavy rain. I'd recommend it and it was much less than the Coleman shelters. It is big 3 m x 3 m.

Some people do go to town with their pitches. I did have solar powered bling draped over the shelter and the awning. Highly recommend a folding camper. It is lovely with snuggly beds....

Fab - DH likes it to. We may just have to invest......Grin

What do you mean by folding camper? Folding campbeds I assume?

We have the 10cm Skandika SIMS. So comfy!

Here. It.s a a trailer that you fold out with a canvas top. Folded up it is about a metre plus high so not the same as a caravan and unfolded it has double beds at each end, nice comfy seats, a cooker and a sink. Some have loos. Its a miracle of folding and unfolding. It is brilliant.
