Campsite in south of France that are reasonably quiet in the evenings

Looking for a couple of campsites to stay in (a week in each one) this August. Been to vendee last few years but looking at south coast for better weather. However am really struggling to find a site that doesn't have reviews saying it's really noisy at night from entertainment. We prefer small sites but children would like decent pool and water slide and to be able to cycle around the site. (So some of the really steep ones are out). I just love to sit outside with a glass of wine and read/ play cards in the evening without listening to pumping music / booming voice overs from the entertainment. Is this impossible in August?!

We stayed at Camping Le Brasilia (Yelloh site) near Perpignan a couple of years ago and I don't remember being particualrly aware of noise. That said, it was September rather than August (although the entertainment was still going on).

Otherwise, it would be quite good for what you want as it is flat for cycling and has a nice pool with waterslides (albeit not giant ones). I suppose because it is flat you could risk a pitch quite far from the entertainment centre/swimming pool etc. as you could cycle/scoot there fairly easily?

We stayed at Camping Domaine de la Gajan in the Languedoc inland from Montpellier. We booked through the Flower Camping website.

It's quite a small site with big pitches. It has a nice pool but no water slide. There is a play ground and foot ball / sports pitch.

There's a bar and restaurant. I think there is entertainment some nights but we didn't notice it from our pitch.

Thanks. I'll look at both of those. We've stayed at a flowers camping site on the il de re before and it was wonderful.
