where is good to camp in devon?

Hoping to be able to camp further afield this year and fancy going down to devon.

Does anyone have an recommendations?

Im looking for electric hook up, nice showers and loos. lots of space, not too busy ( i can but hope but expect that is unrealistic) dont much care for a club house and certainly dont want amusements etc

We have been to river dart but it is a different sort of campsite to most others. Has EHU, good facilities but it can be busy, especially in holidays. However, we normally shy away from busy sites and felt really ok at this one. Downsides is that it's expensive, but the entrance to the country park is included. I would say that it's a brill experience for most kids between 7-14.

Nice showers - yes
Nice loos - yes
Not too busy - Didn't seem it but I went off peak. The were leaving areas fallow to get better grass so they didn't seem a cram it in type site.
Lots of space - If you're looking for a huge field, no. Terraced strips as it's on quite a hill. It feels very spacey though would be great for football and things.

No clubhouse and only a v small shop. No phone reception. Great for nature. Washing up sinks have view of Wales across the Bristol Channel that is breathtaking, as does most of the pitches due to the terracing. Be careful when you use the recycling shed. Swallows nest in there and buz in and out the door. Cool! No beaches nearby.

Bay View Farm in Croyde was fantastic for us last year. I read about it on here and booked it up.

Never felt busy, lovely views of the bay and a nice play area for the kids. Showers clean and there were lots of them. Never had to queue even though the site was fully booked.

We didn't want to leave - asked to stay on an extra few days but they were booked up.
