Prices seem to have hiked up this year. Where do you book yours from?

Book early! Look at other routes , off peak times,

Where are you sailing from and to?

millimat · 02/01/2015 22:41

Well tbh even Dover to Calais is loads more this year. We're towing a caravan so that hikes prices up. Fancied caen , cherbourg or even Spain, but unless there's a cheaper way it won't be happening.

Sail midweek at a stupid time ie 10pm, 6am etc

Try looking at Condor ferries from Poole. They used to be much cheaper than Brittany ferries from Portsmouth.

Brittany ferries have some sort of membership card that gives a discount. Other than that, as snow said pick an unpopular time or day. Don't add a cabin.

How long are you going for? I find ferry plus gite costs less than ferry plus campsite if booked as a package.
