oooohh nooooo!

we are definately fair weather campers! I admit that this September was probably warmer than the weather we had at Whit, but not now!!

The bloke who runs the campsite that we went to at Whit was thinking of banning tents between November and Easter as they all turn up with 2kw fan heaters and his electricity bill was nearly £15k!!

Oh how I hate Autumn

I used to camp in winter..when the water bottle freezes in the tent and you can hardly get the tent pegs in

was it fun zippi?

I don't like being cold in the house never mind under a bit of polyester

I've camped in the snow at Easter. It actually helped insulate the tent so it was lovely and warm inside!

we went on a new year rally admitted we were in the caravan but there were members there in tents & it hit minus 11 , but they were quite happy with there heaters going

We put up our new tent today on the playing field near our house so that we could find out how to do it/make sure all the bits were there etc. It's a fab tent, much bigger than we expected and it was lovely and warm and sunny. I could quite happily loaded up the car and gone camping for real! I had to console myself with rushing indoors to email our favourite site to find out if it's too soon to book up for next year.
