If you've been, you will know what I mean:
lots to do around the site (burns, woods and like)
relaxed camping with lots of space between tents
wood fires
nice toilet block (though I think Comrie could be better on this front)
beautiful views
no cars on pitches - safe for kids to roam
At the moment I'm finding it difficult to see past Comrie, but as they take so few tents, unless you are very organised it is difficult to get a weekend pitch.
Are there any other gems - ideally within 2 hrs of he central belt.
