Campingaz 907 and regulator

Sorry. This is a really dumb question.

Do you detach the regulator from a 907 canister after use and then re-attach it again next time?

How do you know the regulator and hose are on ok and not leaking?

I'm a bit scared of the gas! Stupid I know.

Thanks!

The canisters are self sealing so it won't matter, lots of people where I work leave the regulators on so they don't lose them!

They come with a handle. When you remove the regulator you screw the handle in to seal it.

I keep the gas hose and regulator attached to my cooker. I have a plastic underbed box it fits in.

On site I leave the regulator attached to the bottle at all times. You can isolate the gas at the regulator when not in use. We have a separate cooking tent.

Thanks very much for the replies - they confirm what I thought - I think we've worked it all out! Fingers crossed.

Thanks!
