Love it! Worth the drive, wished we'd booked longer. Bring a hammock if you have one. Or buy one.

Hammock you say? Was it that relaxing? If only i could fit one in the car i would take one as looking forward to much reading and relaxing while DSs scramble about and swim, but as it is i doubt we will even have room for the table -- or the warm duvet!

I am off next week, been wanting to go for ages and finally convinced DH.

Lots of trees about for hammocking, wouldn't need to take lots of space. If you are hiring fridge you will need a universal plug adapter, we only had uk-europe one.

Hammock definitely! We took ours last year and it was well used. Going at the end of this week. Can't wait!

No hammock.... But chairs and picnic rugs etc etc will do. DCs can't wait to find the lake and I will mostly enjoy a cold glass of sauv once the tent is up!
