Suggestions for (fun or useful) things to take to a festival?

Not so much thinking of regular camping stuff, more some ideas of nice extras to take along. Planning on getting a tub of instant chai (to avoid arguments between dd & me as to the number of cups affordable in any one day), dd usually takes facepaints for herself & as a nice way to make friends. Any other thoughts?

Not sure of your kids age, but we have a pull along cart which is fantastic to pull our dds around in when they get tired.

Glitter tattoos are also fun and quicker to do than face paints.

Maybe a flagpole and flag so you can mark your tent (assuming it is a naice festival where it won't go missing).

A couple of those little folding backpacker chairs to make sitting on the ground more comfortable, like this: www.purpleturtle.co.uk/acatalog/Highlander-Sit-Mat-Chair-1413.html?gclid=CNeT6_j8-78CFY_ItAodhmQA0w

Glowsticks? Spraklers? And marshmallows - there has never benn an event unimproved by marshmallows.

Bunting for the tent and marshmallows (and skewers for toasting).

Marshmallows, of course, will definitely add those to the list. My van is perhaps best described as distinctive, so I think we'll find it quite easily, but something frilly would be nice (I have so far resisted decals despite some heavy bullying persuasion). DD is 12, so I think if anyone is going to get pulled in a cart, it might be me Grin

I may have made dp pull me in the cart before
