Yet another tarp question

I impulse bought a tatonka tarp 2 tc which is approx 3m square and has eyelets in each of the four corners. I was hoping to use it as a canopy for my Bell tent but have no clue where to start!

Can the poles only go through the eyelets so if I wanted to have a ridge, where would I put the pole? Also not sure how to attach the tarp to the tent entrance.

I have solved a similar dilemma by purchasing some Clingons and I put one of these in the middle and then put it over the spike on the A frame of the bell and another on the opposing side for the king pole to attach to.

Actually its worth having a bag of Clingons in your 'useful camping stuff' bag as they've proved very useful!

Do you mind if I ask what length poles you use for your setup?
