Gas in France

Does anyone know if most campsites in France will sell calor gas? Or if it's easy to buy anywhere else?

We're just wondering whether we need to take a spare!

Is camping gaz easy to buy in France? First time camping abroad so feeling a bit unsure of everything!

Camping Gaz is different to Calor Gas. You can't buy Calor Gas in France so if you think you might run out, take a spare.

Yes. Different stuff, with different attachments etc. Most of Europe uses camping gaz, not calor gas. They aren't interchangeable.
