Camping with 13m old?!

Anyone taken their 13m old camping?
He's nearly walking but not quite there yet. Is it going to be hard work? Thinking about booking a weekend camping in either peak or Lake District but not sure whether to hold off till he's a bit older? Any tips very welcome.

Hi I'm going camping with my 18 month in August ( 1st time with a child but we have camped loads before she came along ) there are some great tips on here and other sites ( just type into google camping with kids/ babies)
I think the key thing is keeping them dry/ warm, we are taking a travel cot and the high chair, I've got her a fleecy sleep suit and a 3.5 tog sleeping bag with arms ( she will probably be boiling ! But is surprising how cold it gets at night) pack wellies/ crocs and waterproof trousers ( the grass is very dewy 1st thing) packing lots of baby wipes and kitchen roll.
I am planning a meal plan so we are covered for food ( she has tons of allergies so eating out is hard)
We will pack her some toys in a trugg then we will use it to bath her in, pack some glo sticks and maybe a wind up torch or lamp for them.
Kids will love it
Have a fab time x sure other people will add things

I bought one an all in one waterproof rain suit for ds when he was little and it was really worth it.
