Thunderstorms forecast-All Camping off?

We were looking at a little 2 day jaunt Thursday-Saturday, however given the weekend Met Office extreme weather forecast we have postponed. Is it an absolute impossibility to pack up in light rain? Or are we likely to get washed away?

Where are you going?

I thought the weather was supposed to be good this weekend. What is this about thunderstorms? Why can't the weather make its bloody mind up!

We've changed our location, looking at the forecasts, I reckon Cambs/Norfolk could be the best bet... Now to find the perfect campsite at short notice...

We were going to go to Weymouth, then though Roundhills in the New Forest. Concerned about Met Office warning 'significant water surface flooding' etc.

We are reasonably close to Weymouth and were planning our first weekend of "puppy in a tent taming" this weekend- we are spending the weekend in the pub instead :(

We're off to the new forest camping this weekend. Wouldn't have bothered given the forecast but all booked and paid for so we're going to brave it! Hopefully it will just be showers and not continuous torrential rain! [praying]
