We have a lovely pop up outwell 300 for weekends and the like (our main tent is a Bear Lake 4, we like Outwell!). We've just given it a good clean out and in going to do the figure of 8 thing to put it back in the bag, one of the frame poles around the bottom has broken. The whole tension of a pop up tent comes from this circular frame around the bottom - anyone know if you can get replacement poles? Or are we looking at a dead tent?
I will try and have a go at fixing it with gaffer tape, our old faithful friend) but not sure it will have the required tension ...
