Can you use any old bell tent inner tent with any other old bell tent?

or do the inner tent and the outer tent have to be in lurve and compatible, like? I have a 5 m Soul Pad Lite. We've managed without an inner for a while but I fear its time is now nigh. Soul Pad have them for £140 (ouch) but I was hoping to maybe get one 2nd hand on ebay. My central pole has those little hoopy things at the top (feck knows how I'll reach them, I am 5'2") and the usual little plastic hoop and rod fixings for hoicking the sides up. Will a bell tent inner made for a different brand of 5 m bell, fit mine?

Failing that, does anyone have a 5 metre Soul Pad Lite inner that they want to sell for less than £140 incl P&P?

I was told not. something to do with the loops.

No idea about whether they'll fit but we have a DeWaard Albatross which has a central pole which goes up in sections...does the bell tent do that? If so, get it to about the four feet- ish height then loop on the inner then hoist like a navvy to get it upright!!

Sadly, it doesn't telescope up - suppose I could loop the inner tent onto the hoops before I erect central pole, but that's enough of a job without having a lot of fabric underfoot! I think I'll just get DH to lift me up. Or maybe stand on a moon chair.
