Playmobil camping!

I know the bits would get lost.. but this would be wonderful to take camping with young DC!

Or just have to play with at home I suppose! Expensive, but there's loads there.

That's excellent to hear, sometimes it can be a bit hit and miss. I am tempted to try and convince DH but he has been giving me a face like thunder over "too many toys". He probably has a point but then there are four of them.

Playmobil has the most random and brilliant selection of toys. I remember being impressed finding "mother with jogging pushchair" a while back as I did a lot of that at the time!

That's ace! The Prulet's not even born yet but I'm sure it wants one...

We always take the Playmobil campervan, speedboat and a few random pirates camping with us. They keep the kids occupied for a good hour when the weather packs up.

Am seriously considering that campsites for my son's birthday now...

DD has it , it's excellent. Apart from the mini clothes line and pegs that I have to do every time

Playmobil and Lego seem like good options for rainy day/keep the children busy activities when camping - I just worry about bits being taken outside and getting lost in the grass. Less of a concern for Lego, but for a Playmobil kit that could get annoying. Think we would have to have a "inside the tent only" rule!
