Any recommendations for camping, with no car?

For 1-2 nts, with a 5yo and 7yo.

Would like sufficient stuff to do if it rains, but have some nice scenery too?

Should add that we are in Cardiff, so anywhere that isn't too difficult to get to from there would be great!
