Bike rack to fit a Vivaro / Trafic that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Anyone know of a cheap bike rack (hopefully under £100!) that fits on a Vivaro (08)? I'm sure last time I bought a rack in the dim and distance past for my long dead VW they weren't so very very expensive . . .

Don't have a tow hitch as such, though as it's ex-AA there's a metal bracket that would be the basis for one - don't really want to pay for a hitch as it's unlikely I'll use the van to tow a trailer. TIA!

The upsurge of interest in cycling since the Olympics has caused all manner of bike related paraphernalia to rocket in price Hmm
For cheap, your best bet is probably eBay TBH. Otherwise, how often will you use it and how much space do you have inside? When we had a Transporter we used to remove the pedals and turn the handlebars 90 degrees so the bikes were effectively flat, then tie them to the anchoring points inside. It wasn't ideal but we only needed to do it a couple times a year and we weren't into off road biking or anything too muddy :o

Interesting about the price rises - it definitely feels that way whenever I try to buy anything bike-y. I was just a bit thrown when I saw people selling bike racks for £250 quid Grin

ATM I've just been putting bikes inside, which works fine for days out (I'm a gardener so the van is mud central anyway when I'm working). But sadly I just can't get all three in plus camping stuff (semi-converted, so there's a folding seat/bed which limits space).

I'll keep hunting on ebay - optimistically though DH suggests I could probably pretty easily put a tow hitch onto the bracket if I only want it for the bike rack (ie not wanting electrics), so I might investigate that.
