Has anyone used this Hi Gear tent? I'm looking for a tent which will be ok for 2 adults, and children of 9, 7 and 1 for weekend trips.

I think I'll also use it when I'm on my own with the kids so I don't want anything that's going to be too complicated to pitch on my own.

Thanks Grin

HiGear get good reviews, and that tent looks v easy to put up. It has good features - mesh doors, good HH, etc.

It will be a snug fit for all of you, but it's very good value at that price.

Hi gear voyager 6 tent is great. Roomy, so good on a rainy day. Can put table inside etc. hi gear is well known. Have had our tent for a few years now and is still good as knew. We go camping a lot. If you choose voyager 6 , get the porch with it as it can be hard to come by after the tent purchase. Tent carpet is also worth it as it keeps the cold at bay under little feet.

Actually, it's probably tricky to pitch on your own though.

We bought a Hi Gear Zenobia in the end. It hasn't been used properly yet but I pitched it on my own this weekend in the garden - yay!

Hopefully it'll be lovely when we actually sleep in it too...

Ive got a 5 berth Hi Gear (can't remember which type) and me and my 7yr old put it up ourselves. It's dead easy.

It's great for weekend trips. Especially since we forked out for the porch extension.
