on how make it lighter, pack down smaller, and to stop the huge steel poles stabbing me in the leg when i carry them or rather we carry them as one person can't.

I am so cross with myself for forgetting to look at the weight of the bloody thing when i bought it - just got carried away with the look and fab reviews.

Please any help at at or maybe a glass of wine in an enamel cup - do we have a camping thingy like the bike?

I thought I had the heaviest tent. God forbid I ever have to walk to my pitch!
The answer is to break it down. Find alternative bags for the inner and outer. If possible split the poles too. Might actually make erecting easier

I love my Croyde. It's sturdy and spacious. The weight is a small price to pay.

We used it for the first time this weekend and I admit it was rather sturdy but so heavy I had to ask for help, then the poles got stuck and I couldnot dismantle, the innards ripped in to places and there are no Velcro bits on the guy ropes so they are now al tangled. I miss my outwell but I loved the space and shape of the croyde.
