Hi all, do any of you lovely lot have any campsite recommendations in and around La Rochelle? We have a car and all our own gear. Our must haves are clean, friendly and with a pool.
Our nice to haves would be a small shop, walking distance to some amenities.

Any recommendations?

Does it have to be there? Dol de Bretagne in Normandy is wonderful. 3 pools, one indoor with lazy river and slides, one outdoor with wave machine and third outdoor with loads of tunnel slides; pedaloes, horse riding, zip wires, market, tree houses and hobbit homes on the lake as well as very comfortable straw roofed chalets or cheaper mobile homes. It's gorgeous. best campsite we ever stayed in.
Several great restaurants and supermarkets in Dol town as well as standing stones etc.
You can visit Mont St Michel easily from there too. But it's a lot further up than La Rochelle.

My sil lives in vanne so we want to chase the sun and keep heading south. That campsite sounds brilliant though!
