Can anyone give me ideas of what you do to entertain your kids on a campsite in all weather. I know they are very good at finding things to do but with a two year old and six year old it is always fun to have new ideas.

iPad Books, board games, DVDs for wet weather. Otherwise turf them outside with a liberal smattering of balls and bikes and leave them to it :o

Lego, assorted small figures (mine had a collection of random people from Kinder egg toys to small wooden animals to playmobil kids - they just all had to be the same size roughly to be in 'the gang') Blackboard and chalk. Dominoes…great for making towers/houses/bridges too!
Skittles, bug finding stuff.
Also took watercolour set and sketchbooks.

Waterproof trousers Grin

YY to mini figures - my lot like Gogos and Star Wars fighter pods.
Small cars/trains
Card games/Top Trumps for the 6yo.
Sticker books
Small box of Lego
Pass the pigs if they are old enough to get it (6yo should do)

They also used to like playing imaginary games in the inner tent with their teddies as main characters Smile
