New Forest campsites

Can anyone recommend a campsite in the new forest? We will have two toddlers and a dog with us, ideally close to cycle paths.

We're going here in the summer.

Hollands Wood is just lovely, and walkable to Brockenhurst. Roundhill is another good Forestry commission site; not such nice loo blocks and fewer trees but feels more spacious.

I Would definitely buy a pass for theopen topped bus- it is amazing.

You can cycle to Brockenhurst from Long Meadow campsite. It's opposite Hollands Wood and a bit cheaper.

Long Meadow is fab. We went last summer after reading about it in here. So glad we did. Waking up in the night and finding the tent surrounded by dear was amazing!

I think I recommended it to you Angel. I should keep it quiet really as the price goes up every year.

Ok I'll keep it quiet!

But we do have such lovely memories of that trip. And some great photos of the kids on the Tarzan ropes! We didn't want to leave.
