Camping in Devon

Have just been for a few days camping in Devon nr Salcombe with little ones aged 2 yrs & 4 mths & have to say it was the best holiday. I stressed so much before hand about if it would work, but was actually easier than being in a B&B or hotel as you can just chill around the site & not feel like you have to be out & about all of the time. If anyone has any doubts about going with a small baby I would say GO FOR IT!!!

Bolberry House Farm campsite. My in laws had booked a static caravan & sister & law & family a pitch a yr ago. We only decided to go last week & manage to get a pitch at the last minute due to a cancellation. Shows you don't always need to book way in advance. Was £14 per night & had basic toilet/shower/washing maching facilities. We were in the paddock which isn't the main site so were away from the noisy playarea / boys going round at mad spped on their bikes. Unless you have boys who want to go round the circuit at a mad speed I would recommend the paddock as the main site is arranged in such a way that it resembles a racing circuit!

thanks will check it out. my dds do like cycling round campsites, so the racing circuit sounds like their sort of thing!
