Anyone been to St Ives Bay Holiday Park in Cornwall?

We booked to go there for seven nights camping at the end of August. Looks lovely on the website.
I can't wait, at last something to look foward to.

OK... I thought that Sparkler and 'Whoopdfallenoveragain' were the same person....

LOL Tamba. No definitely two different people. Whoops is a wino and chocoholic - I can't stand either of them

We came back last week - it's dead near the beach which is great except for the sand dunes you have to climb up to get back! The sites quite nice shop, a couple of bars with "entertainment" & a pool. There were quite a lot of people camping there but we stayed in a bungalow. There's not much in Hayle but a 10 min drive one way to St Ives which is gorgeous but horrendous for parking. There's a Tesco at St Ives St Michaels Mount and Penzance are about 10 minuts in the other direction and there's a Morrisons and huge Tesco on the outskirts.

We stayed there a couple of years ago but we stayed in a lovely caravan with sea views, we loved it there & found it to be a very clean site, the beach we great, it is step though but its a lovely beach once on it, ds loved it.
We did not use the pool & we did not go to the entertainment, we spent alot of time going around places, st ives itself is a gorgeous little town & nice to have fish & chips at the harbour, we also loved penzance & went for some nice drives into other places but i can not remember what they were called.

I would defo go back there, in fact if we could be bothered to drive 7 hrs this yr we would have went there but we are of to the isle of wight, less driving this yr thank god.
