Vango or Easy Camp?

Another request for MN advice please. Having lost out on a bargain Vango Lomond, we Are now considering either a Vango Palena 600 DLX or Calisto 600 XL or an Easy camp Boston 600. It is really quality which is bothering me. Are Easy Camps similar quality to Vango or are they a bit inferior?

TIA. Smile

I believe Easy Camp are owned by Outwell and are considered to be good quality, but I don't have one myself.

Thanks Thumbcat. That is good news, so they should be of similar quality really (can't afford an Outwell really so that would make a good compromise).

Now just to decide between fibreglass and steel poles - decisions, decisions...

Steel! Better in high winds.

Thanks LoveAndDeath - good point about high winds - we saw some pretty sad sights after high winds last year in Eweleaze. I think the final decision has to be a Vango Palena 600 DLX - roll on Spring! Grin

I read a thread on ukcampsite where someone was camping when the wind was so bad a caravan blew over!

LAD Shock. How terrifying!

Fingers crossed we will be ok in the nearly new Vango Palena (with steel poles) I have just won on Ebay. Off to sort out payment and collection shortly.
