Has anyone stayed in a vacansoleil mobile? They seem to be much cheaper than eurocamp etc. Just wondering if they are dodgy?

Not dodgy at all.

I've stayed in several. There are different models, and the basic ones have been a bit orange and old fashioned but the nicer one really was fine.

My advice would be to just make sure you have a veranda, which seems to correspond with nicer mobile.

Or book direct - cheaper again.

I really don't know why people book with eurocamp, ridiculously expensive.

I've only been with alfresco before. You can get some bargains there at times. Agree that eurocamp can be a lot more expensive for certain places too. Could it possibly be due to placement of mobiles though?

Re. Vacansoleil-the fact that they have old and new mobiles maybe explains the difference in cost between models. Hmmm.

Thanks.

Well, I've stayed in some lovely ones and they're still cheap.

Where you planning on going?

NeverTalksToStrangers · 27/01/2014 00:20

Either France (amount of selection is driving me nuts) or lake garda. Been to both before. For France vs doesn't always seem to have the best campsites but they all have the same ones in garda.

We stayed in Camping del Garda once, in a VS place. Looked just like this

Although that does against everything I said about needing a verandah Grin
