there is a list somewhere...i am going to look for it now as we go next week too but are in a van

lots of snacks and toys! If you have room get a cool box that can be powered by electricity mains, car, or gaz. Means you don't have to go to the shops all the time to get ice!

i can't find the really good thraed, but have found this...from custardo i think

"take some washing tablets - as the site shops always take the piss - just incase.
take some foil if you going to use the grill on the cooker
take a tea towel ( i always forget a tea towel and you look a proper twot drying pots with a beach towel)take half a bottle of washing up liquid and a scourer. i hate being over charged by site shops and nearby supermarkets.
leave the food you dont think you are going to eat at the end of the holiday in the fridge - dont take it home the reps can have it - they need their money for beer - their only young - let them have it.
10 outfits will be good enough. your kids will probably potter around in swimming cossy all day like mine do anyway.
sea sandles. please dont forget these as i got stung by a sea urchin thing in france and it was truly the most painful experience of my life."

I would also add...

matches
BBQ tools (I think keycamp provide tthses but we go independent and they don't)
ovengloves
anti-mozzy stuff, camping coil thingys
torch

Oh forgot medised! If they get sick during the night you want to be able to sedate them so they don't keep the campsite up all night!

fez · 27/07/2006 15:12

oooo... thanks. how do you get them wash by the way? throw them into the pool?

what is medised?

I just put mine (6 months and 3.4yrs) in the washing up tub, they loved it! Medised is paracetamol and a mild antihistamine, so it will make them sleepy. Great for long flights also, you can give it from 3 months.

fez - wash your kids or your clothes??

kids - the shower blocks may have kiddy size baths.

clothes - there are loads of washing machines available and tumble dryers
