Can you give me some ideas for places to visit when we are there on holiday in mid August please.
I have a 3 year old ds and a 5 year old dd. Nothing too strenuous as I'm up the duff again and we don't want to wear out the aged grandparents who we are holidaying with

I thankyou

It's years since I've been down that way but the Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth is lovely. It's free, as well!

TEignmouth has lovely town beach w/ a nice prom, kids play area, crazy golf etc. Also has a soft play place and cafe - good if weather is bad.

Paignton zoo - great day out

Minature pony centre with rides, petting etc up on edge of Dartmoor

Great beaches all along torbay - Blackpool Sands is very well-known and apparently fantastic though I've not been there.

have a lovely time!

Gaye's Creamery for delish ice cream and cheese and onion pasties.

Powedrahm castle, think the ahve deer there.

Dawlish itslef has a nice littl eriver going through the park there with lots of ducks.

Thanks for those ideas!
Sorry it's taken me a while to check back - been wrapped up in ds's birthday party.

I'll write those things down

Any other recommendations?
