Camping and hayfever...

So, the Willow-clan have been contemplating this camping lark but DH gets terrible hayfever and DS seems to be starting to get symptoms too. Are we mad to contemplate holidaying under canvas?

Hayfever-suffering-campers here too.
The 'non-drowsy' anti-histamines seem to work well, but you need to start them well before you venture out - a week should be ok.. We get Zirtek for DS and Neo-Clarityn for me (NC only available on prescription, but I find it better than Clarityn, Zirtek is v expensive so we get that on prescription too) I also use anti-histamine eye drops, and you could use a nose spray, too, I suppose.

Shower all the pollen off body and hair before going to bed, and hopefully you won't suffer too badly.
