We've just got back from a great weekend in Somerset and I've decided I want to go camping more! But as much as I love our new tent it is so huge and I can't put it up/down on my own. If we'd had a small one this weekend dd and I would have still been there Angry.

DD is currently rolling his eyes as I type this, but I want one I can put up on my own that sleeps 4, so sleeps 6 IYSWIM. Any recommendations?

Dh is saying no! Not that that ever means anything. I like the look of the pop up one I think MB linked to. Just room for dd and I. Bliss!

We've just bought \link{http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/pp/Tents/5-6_person/Vango_Venture_500_Tent.html\this tent - Vango Venture 500} for weekends. Great for weekends and you can stand up in the porch bit!

I like the look of the Vango. It was rather idyllic this weekend as we only slept in the tent as it was so hot in the day and warm at night. One that we could sit it would probably be sensible.

We're down south GDG but thanks anyway!

Have you tried freecycle? I seem to remeber that JARM got loads of stuff from there a couple of weeks ago?

Try \link{http://www.freecycle.org/display.php?region=United%20Kingdom\here} but be careful when setting your email preferences, I got 400 emails one week!
