Recommend a campsite near La Rochelle...

Please Recommend a campsite near La Rochelle.... For me, DH & DS who will be 15mo. It's only for 3 nights as we will be on our way from dieppe to the MiL.
Oh, & if anyone can tell me how to reserve a spot in a municipal campsite I'd be very grateful!

Hi, this is probably closer to Bordeaux but a few years ago we went to Yelloh village in Lacaneau. Lovely shady sites, direct access to the sand dunes and beaches behind. Clean toilet and shower facilities and overall a nice feel to it. We were also able to hire tables and chairs and a small fidge locker. Happy memories.

We stayed near La Rochelle recently and spotted this place here. Chatelaillon is a nice little town. Sandy beach, quite a few restaurants etc there is a fair on until the end of August.
