3-4 days at the end of August - ideas/ recommendations for family with 2 under 5 kids

Have 2 kids under 5. think of spending 3-4 days around bank holiday week end somewhere with nice sunshine/ swimming pool for kids, activities for kids. What would you recommend please? UK ? France? We could go for camping - like the idea of running around with bare feet. Please shar your experience and thoughts

Have you thought about the Channel Islands or the Isles of Scilly?

I had friends who stayed on Sark and they said it was lovely. I was looking at Scilly for next year but it looks quite expensive to get there.

would trip to France campsite ( hopefully there would be better weather) make sense for 3-4 days?

We have just stayed at a site called les chants de oiseaux in France and would certainly recommend it. Our dc had so much fun there, fantastic place.
But may be too far for a weekend. It was a days drive from Calais.

Woodlands in Dorset is good for kids, or Secret Garden in Norfolk.

Wyke Down. Swimming pool + pub at the entrance to camp site. Playground. Nice places nearby - farm and a hawk conservancy place. No guarantee of sunshine though ...
