Camp kitchen skirt!

Ok may have gone too far. Just made a skirt for the (very ugly!!!!) camp kitchen stand by hemming ( by hand and I'm clumsy not crafty ) charity shop curtains. What do you think? I think dh is eyeing up the spare tent for the opposite end of the campsite. Pic on profile.

That looks pretty well made from the pic! Not my camping style - i'm strictly functional only and wouldn't care if the camp kitchen looked ugly and I'd save the space for something else. But if you have the space and like things to look nice I think its great and you've done a good job :)

Good job Lucy! I'd like to do something similar with my kitchen, sadly I've run out of time to have it done for this holiday (Thursday coming woop whoop!) but it remains on the list for next year.

Can I ask how you attached said skirt to the kitchen?

Ah thanks Shiraz i feel less like a mad doily now.
It still had its plastic hook things on it so they just hooked onto the top of the rim. The material just ripped round the bottom in a straight line and then it was just a hem. Camp bestival sounds fab. Have fun!!!!!!

Hmm, I can see no way of attaching a skirt to my kitchen....
