First trip just me and my DS!

I'm really excited. Also terrified.

DH is working and DS2 is still too small for me to take them both, so he's off to Granny and me and my lovely DS1 are sneaking off for a one-night mini trip. Sharing a double sleeping bag in a tiny tent. So I probably won't get much sleep.

We've been having a tough time recently, he's currently being assessed for all sorts of SEN stuff and I'm really looking forward to just being able to give him 100% attention for a day.

Even with just the small tent and us it's still looking like a lot of stuff, but I have never been much of a minimalist camper

Only the double sleeping bag bit would terrify me! You won't get a wink!
Apart from that, have a great time!
I have been camping on my own and on my own with DS, several times. You'll be fine.

I'm planning on building a barricade of pillows down the middle!

My main worry is the 11pm wee - not enough room in the tent to do this indoors so it will be a potty outside and a blanket wrapped round him I think!
