Beach campsite in the South of England? Newbie here!

I'm considering it with certain trepidation
I have no idea what to look for, but probably having the kids entertained is a priority. So I thought if we are by the sea we can spend some time there (sandy beaches??), then they can play football near the tent... It would be nice if it was close to other things to see and do.
