Do I need anything special? Like a special cable or something?

It has never crossed my mind before now.

Help?

Yep, you'll need something like this

I'd get one in advance - they may sell them at the campsite but it's likely to be more expensive than, say, Halfords.

Of course, you'll only need the cable if you're going to plug something in, like your kettle. You don't have to use the electric hook-up just because it's there - the campsite probably does two rates, one for if you use electricity, one for if you don't.

Halfords one is on offer at £40

Thank you. Will stop and get one on the way in.

Phew, glad I checked.

Make sure you don't plug in all your electricals at the same time and blow the campsite electrics. Blush. They really don't like it when you do that twice

TheRealMBJ · 27/06/2013 17:00

Eek! I won't. Thanks for the heads up.

We have never needed to have our own one in France, we could just borrow it (maybe for a small fee) from the camp site.

They have them at Go outdoors for £33.99 if easier to get to. Have a great holiday.

Complete change of topic sorry, but 2ofsted- have you really had 2 in 24 weeks?!

2ofstedsin24weeksistakingthep · 30/06/2013 18:09

millimat sadly yes. First we had the usual one and that was then followed by a subject specific one. Of course it had to be my subject! Luckily we got top marks in both Grin
