How to do it as cheap as possible?!

Ive seen that Millets have a family starter pack for the tent... £74.99 but what else is essential? and where is cheapest?

Dont want to spend a fortune if Im not going to enjoy it, especially with 2 kids under 2!

Janbo - I saw that tent at a Yeomans outdoor exhibition last summer and I think that it looks absolutely fab. Except that I've got my eye on the XXL one. It won't happen though 'cause I've a wuss for a husband!! As far as he is concerned we've been there and done that and now he likes his home comforts. Don't think he realises how much holidays out of term time cost though and our oldest starts school next year!!

That 3 pin one looks about right for camp sites.

Woolys have folding tables and stuff quite cheap too.

I would borrow as much as possible until you find what suits you especially things like cookers.

BTW un less 6ou pitch 2 tents at other ends of the site you will hear their snoring and chatting. No amount of canvas will block that, you will hear you neighbours too.

its the mumbling in their sleep - but we will see how we cope - couldnt sleep last night for thinking of everything we can do.

DH doesnt want the electric either, but im sticking to my guns - least of all if it really does chuck it down, we can hook up the portable DVD player when the girls are asleep!!!
