Don't care too much about facilities, relatively peaceful, loo and fresh water would be good but not fussed about anything else.

Anyone been anywhere that blew their socks off??

We stayed here recently. Not really woodland but rural setting and spacious, peaceful and allows fires. The facilities were very good.

That looks fab professorpoop, but we would like to take our own tent...will be bookmarking that for winter though! :)

Haven't been here, but it looks good - it's Cropton on the North York Moors about an hour north of york, don't know if they allow fires though.

Homage you can take your own tents, it only has a few bells and pods.
