How does your ell tent look when not using a stove?

Am very tempted to. Get one after seeing them o. Various sites but I have a couple of questions:

Do they actually work?!
What do you use to cover the hole when you don't use it?! (We don't have one of the soul pads with the pre cut hole)
Is any one stove better than the others?
Is there one to avoid?
Is it just a new toy expensive useless toy?!

give martin champion a ring he makes the best small lightweight stoves for camping, brilliant guy.

kevin will make any alterations you want, and has lots of great solutions, his porches are well worth having put on to a bell tent the tent company are also on FB.

Martin's site is v reasonable, although I'm being dense and can't seem to work out how you'd order a flue? It's not included in the price is it?!

Just ring and ask Sarah or Kevin they do any bespoke additions, you could ever want, they are also on FB.

ask Martin for advice on flue, he may well be at Glastonbury by now, (He is a tree pirate ) but he will have his phone.

He will make you almost anything you like he does great lightweight ones that you can cook on, and you will be really toasty.

Everyone I camp with has a Kevin tent/yurt/geo dome (or adapted by Kevin), and Martin stove, Martin (or his friend also a tree pirate) does the best fire pits, like a satellite dish with three un screwable legs, brilliant for barbecues , great on uneven ground, doesn't burn the grass, lovely to sit beside and watch the moon across the sea.
