Chess is out for us (dh used to compete to quite a high standard and won't play with 'one move ahead' me) and bridge does my head in. Again, dh is really good at it. Actually ANY card games involving complicated/predictive maths is out as it will end in Words.

So prompted by Slubber's thread about Monopoly Deal Grin, I was wondering what else people play of a rainy evening.

Not a clue, sorry Grin.

Shhh, don't tell Cavey then. She might close the curtains and we'll have to play Pictionary instead.

Oooh, good call NumTum Grin. Now that's what I call making your own entertainment!

I've got to admit this thread has me wracking my head now, we are obviously very unwholesome as we tend to eat late as poss then drink until we are sleepy Blush

Yep we follow the losters' model. Cook over the fire, chat, fall asleep.

Or lie in bed with books and head torches or illuminated kindles.

or a DVD on the player wholesome

Bananagrams definitely - it's a bit like scrabble, but simpler, against the clock and great fun for any number of players.

Bananagrams, shut the box and cards for us. Shut the box is my favourite as you can chat inbetween goes.
Dh says he can't wait to go camping now after me reading out all these games. Think he has other games that are his favourite Wink

I saw Gwyneth Paltrow play chubby bunnies on a cookery programme recently. It totally changed my opinion of her, she beat the other presenters by miles even though she was laughing so hard she could barely say 'chubby bunny'. Respect.

Pissed Jenga. It's the only camping game.

That's an impressive total TeamEdward!

I've played a similar game with biscuits, setting a personal best of 6 custard creams (or was it 7?) Grin
